this game is not the best game ever, it's very clunky in fact, but it's so unique! we even started a wiki and speedrun page for it.
it would be amazing if GoG fixes the alt+tab issue, the loading issue, and the monitor issue and releases it.

Clou_2Fan + 1. This game must be kept accessible. It would be good if THQ, if they still inherited Jowood, would publish some pre-release versions or materials. I know The Sting! (Der Clou! 2) there was a rare demo version for a short time in 2000, where there was content that was later removed - Jewelry Store (at the site of the park), 3rd mission after two (Gas Station and Hotel). Perhaps they have it in their archives!

Phaidox @MRThomsen1: I can't recall any, especially when you consider the "recording & executing the plan" mechanics The Sting! features. It's quite a unique game in this regard. By the way, according to Gamersgate, THQ Nordic owes the rights to the game atm. Considering how GOG-friendly this particular publisher is, it boggles the mind why we're still here, waiting for the release to happen.

chockimon I bought the Gamersgate version, but it doesn't appear to have any music or it's not working at all. I managed to track down a CD version which has music, but it doesn't work properly under WIndows 8.1 as the must stops after the first track.

przelucki_andrew Marvellous, very moody game with a really great atmosphere! I finished this game two times on Windows 98! I still fondly remember it. The foggy and cloudy city was so fun to explore! I went everywhere, tried to get in everywhere! Haha..
Please note that the Wikipedia entry has some incorrect or misleading information!:

Not true at all! No clipping problems! Never noticed any. I played the game a few years later on newer hardware and OS, and no such problems as well. Pathfinding worked very well, very rarely any minor issue - if it could be considered an issue at all, since all software has some sort of design and usage 'issues', which are simply natural consequences of the way the software was designed, and developed and how the user uses it (is fluent enough in using the Software). The game was quite challenging, the AI's were really good imo
