The Space Bar
It is now on Steam, so it should be available on GOG as well!?
FYI: This game just released as an exclusive on Zoom Platform: www.zoom-platform.com/product/the-space-bar
Can you hit spacebar 100 times in 10 seconds if no then you need to improve your spacebar button hitting speed. You can play video gaming ? Everyone can like to play video games. If you want win every games then you need to improving your sticking figures. I can suggest <a <a href="href="https://spacebarcounter.org/">" class="light_un" target="_blank">href="https://spacebarcounter.org/"></a> spacebar counter</a> tool this tool helps to improve your ticking figures.
I adored the point-and-click adventure genre in the 90s. Myst and Riven, sure, but also Space Bar, Obsidian, Blade Runner, the Journeyman Project series, and many others. Pure brain candy. However, though I still own all the physical discs, they are a bit challenging to run on modern systems, sometimes. Jumping through the hoops of dosbox and virtual machines and whatnot can be a huge hassle, and I don't seem to be accumulating more patience for it with age. Having a working version of The Space Bar for Windows 10 would be fantastic. And Obsidian.
number 98 on top 100 adventure games of all time on adventuregamers.com this needs to be added
I love this game! I would buy it immediately! Someone please make this happen.
At this point I think that if they added this game then all of the adventure games I remember playing as a kid would be on GOG.
Yup, I'd really love to see this, and Obsidian (1996), two incredible masterpieces that deserve to be put back in the spotlight.
I want this game. GOG, please make my wish come true. Pretty pretty please with lots of ice cream.
This game is not the easiest to get running under anything past Win98. Best way to play it is set up Virtual PC or VMWare Player. That being said, there are still some nasty bugs in this game. Steve Meretzky's awesome writing really makes this one shine, as well as Ron Cobb's alien designs. Tough game, though. And the time constraints don't help.
I have the game but it will not run on modern OSs (I'm running Win 8.1x64). You try to install it and it says it is made for Win 95 and cannot run on NT systems.
Thank you, HG101, for introducing me to yet another interesting-looking game:

PLEASE. just.... please.
This is one of the most original adventure games I have EVER seen. Never actually got around to finishing it. From memory, it was quite difficult and quite lengthy.
It has the most unique aliens I have seen in any game ever - and this is also true of the aliens you get to control. Yes, you have a kind of "mind-meld"-ish gift, where you can find out someone's memories, but to do that you have to replay a part of that alien's life in a mini-adventure segment.
These aliens include: a member of a 3-gendered race (!), a plant, a giant ant, a robot that comes from a society where they try to piece together their past since all organics have mysteriously died (like Primordia but weird), a race of ultra-intelligent creatures, and two creatures that share a strange symbiotic relationship (one of whom lives in a jar).
I remember already having some (minor) game speed issues when I played this on Win 98, so it'll need some tweaking I suspect. It was already in a bargain bin and at the time I hadn't heard a word about it. In other words, it's the kind of underrated brilliance that needs to be on GOG!
Another vote for The Space Bar!
This game was great and very funny. I wish more people knew about it...
incredible game. very innovative in mechanics, graphics, and general gameplay. one of the more complex point and clicks, with awesome fly-through animations of the environment. seriously, a good old game.
I used to have a demo of this, always wanted to know what happened next, but it's really hard to find and I don't know if it's even possible to make it work on Windows 7 64-bit, such a shame, because it's such a cool game.

Such an original sci fi game.Wish I could play it again.
would love to see this come out but the odds of this happening is vary small
I'm really sad that more people don't want this.
God, I'd love to see this game. It's not only extremely funny, created by Steve Meretzky of Infocom fame and designs by Ron Cobb (!), and very underrated, but it's almost impossible to find to buy. So having it available to recommend to people (and in case anything ever happens to my discs...) would be awesome.
