The Sims 3
while putting a sims 1&2 is giant dream of sims fans, i think when still it is available in stores, sims 3 should be added to gog
If GOG is gonna add NSFW games on here, then why can't they add cool games like The Sims 3???
a release of TS3 that's compatible with new hardware would be nice
Would be amazing

This is a no brainer EA. This game would be the best thing to happen to GOG hands down.
People wanting a cheap complete collection are delusional. The Sims 2 onward contained an abundance of licensed music which would drive up the price and most likely require expansion packs to be purchased separately.
So long as they are reissued without DRM, compatible with modern systems (The Sims 2+ are a headache on modern OSes) and ideally with the original licensed music intact, I'm happy to cough up whatever they ask.
If all of the Maxis/EA content (even to the extent of reobtaining licences for licensed content like the rubbish Katy Perry Sweet Treats, which currently isn't available on Steam or Origin) was bundled together in a reasonably price package (say £45), that would be really nice. Would be nice if the bonus pre order content was also available. Admittedly wishful thinking, but it would be nice if it happened.
I have a lot of nostalgia for The Sims 3, but as it stands, it's too expensive on either Steam or Origin, especually for a 10 year old, and that's not to mention The Sims 3 Store stuff. I would buy physical copies, but supposedly expansion and stuff packs started requiring Origin registration part way through The Sims 3's life.
+1: DRM free and with all add-ons/expansions, and maybe with a few of the worst bugs removed - I am sure this would sell very well here at gog.com! It is also old enough so that EA should not care about piracy anymore... While the DVD-version without origin and without the EA launcher can still be used, it is quite a lot of work to install it on a modern PC...
honestly i don't care about sims4... but the 3rd one (and maybe medieval too) would be appreciated from EA on GOG... Comeone, it's OLD now and your new cash-in is the 4th one, so you won't loose anything selling it to us DRM-Free !
@Captain_Seasick
Riddick - Assault on Dark Athena also had a terrible DRM but is now available on GOG. It's not impossible.
Well 'perfectly' is a matter of opinion, but considering that EA has limited the choice to 'piracy' or 'hellspawn client', I wouldn't mind a legitimate way of obtaining this game.
Why would people even bother adding and/or voting for The Sims 3 on here? It's DRM-riddled to the point of being IMPOSSIBLE for GOG to acquire a licence for!
If you want a good and old sims game, play the first 2 or the console games. TS3 was horrible in every aspect.
This game is not "Good" and its not "Old" either. lmao
Would love it DRM free and with all the expansion packs in one huge bundle.
I would definitely buy if there was a DRM-free release of this game.
I absolutely would love a DRM free edition of this game, but it's never going to happen. :(
100% agree
Not much of a point releasing the sims 3, as there is already a lot of ways to get it, and the game works perfectly on modern systems.
