For different reasons many games will never be published in the gog store - fuck_DRM policy (or at least gog trying to pretend to be a DRM-free store), absurd terms of cooperation that gog is pushing, support policy that is completely frustrating and disappointing, and of course non-professional personnel.
MacClyver I contacted support about it a few months ago and they basically just said we don't got it move on...
I wonder if hinterlands realizes that people that can't buy it here might just watch lets plays and not get the sales.
kai2 GOG, can we get this game back already? Waited to purchase here, but if it's DRM free elsewhere, it's starting to tempt me. But just word on when -- or if -- this game is coming back, and I'd wait here patiently...
LeonDWH Hello GOG Team! Is there any news or an update on when this now completed game will actually be available? The green bar says it is but only a general game search comes up for The Long Dark. The game is not showing up as available to browse much less to buy. Also. Is this the "Redux" version or just a re-posting as seems to be indicated by other posters? The Redux edition includes a second, or actually the first, DLC for the game. Tales from the Far Territory is the latest/last DLC put out for the game. We need ALL of this ASAP!!
LeonDWH Oh.. And to DuplexEagle.. Usually any game listed on STEAM requires STEAM Client to install and play the game. That is basically locking the game to STEAM making it a STEAM DRM requirement. That is why I my self prefer to buy my games here on GOG.com!
LeonDWH I went looking for it as well. It says here that it is now available on GOG.com but using both the link here AND out right searching for it by name comes up "NO JOY". It apparently is NOT yet released for purchase!?!? Then of course is the expansion pack listed separately. Also not showing yet since it's just been requested!

I'd much rather buy it here on GOG but if your main motivation is purely having no DRM - Than here you go! I'm particularly happy about this news!free_games
