The only reason I keep returning to GOG is to see if this game has become available. I still have the boxed copy from back in the day, but of course can't play it any longer. Please bring it to GOG!

I played this game years ago and loved it. Many reviews of the game missed the point. I think the acting is supposed to be cheesy; it's reminiscent of cheaply-produced, B-level noir films of the 1940s. The multiple endings were also consistent with the genre.

One of the best examples of FMV games. While the acting and production value may be very cheesy, it had a lot of story interactivity in small details, like you ex commenting your looks depending on how often you had a shave and your character needs to eat, sleep and earn money to pay the rent. the kind of interactive story telling that was mostly present in text adventures and of course the Tex Murphy series.
