uGuishiro The first computer I had was inherited from my cousin, and it came with Stratosphere installed, I was too young to understand how to play but I still fell in love with the graphics of the game, I would love to be able to play it again now that I'm older.

Szasz.939 I was thinking about doing a remake but I don't remember in depth mechanics and details well enough to recreate them and to be honest there is no way to pick those up considering the old game barely runs now.
Sopwith07 In the meantime, soundtrack below, and you can somewhat get the game to work by downloading the ISO and using DOSBox-X to install Win98 and run it. Remember it needs the CD/ISO loaded due to copy protection!

MrValentine If someone remade a similar game [Unfortunately the licence is lost to whoever took the rights when Acclaim Games was finally shut down... although likely before Acclaim or even Kodiak Interactive...] wherever the licence now lies, who knows, but likely it is possible to remake a similar game with a new name [in case someone is still holding the rights…] Who would buy that? Keeping in mind not everything might remain and new features may be added and some core mechanics may change… ‘hint-hint’ ;)
Scritter I wish GOG would adopt this game. It was so much fun to build and fight with the flying fortresses. Oh did I enjoy slamming enemies into mountains with the gravity well. But at only +146 votes in over 4 years; my best bet at ever playing this again is when I dream. ;(

Pendrokar Previously I tried running Stratosphere on Windows 7, now I tried it on Windows 8.1.While it works on Windows 8.1, it is very slow and even crashes when starting a game.

Krakenous This was the game that for YEARS AND YEARS i could not remember the name of, when finally after like literally 12 years i discovered it was called Stratosphere, only even played the demo gahhh and prayed it was on GOG, man, how i wish it was along with Uprising: Join or Die, must keep believing.
