One of my favorite all time games please bring it back.
C’mon! Mark Hamill as Harabec Weathers! How is this not available?
Would love to see this one sold again.
add please
Need this gameeeeeeee
Please bring it back, I still have the physical version but would pay for a GOOD GOG version with HD graphics and modern controller support.
Really missing this game lately!
The game is officially abandonware but I would pay for a reliable launcher.
Also ill put in a request to bring this back. Along with obviously MechWarrior series. (Especially the 2).
Didn't realize till I replayed as an adult that Harabec "Phoenix" Weathers was voiced by Mark Hamill. God I loved this game

awesome mech game! I'll buy it instantly when it will be available
We really don't need GOG to do this for us. The game is available for free and runs just fine on Win10.
Download the game here: web.archive.org/web/20151031133228/https
Download the patches here: library.theexiled.pwnageservers.com/file.php?id=2913
Follow the instructions in the patch documentation.
Starsiege is still one of my favorite games of all time.WE NEED THIS, GOG!
Guys check this out: www.starsiegerestoration.com/
+1
With all the good things being brought up by mech games nowadays (BattleTech, MechWarrior 5, etc.), I think now would be a great time to bring this one back up again (Starsiege especially). I know Hi-Rez made it free somewhere, but Starsiege could use some GOG love! Please oh pleaseeee!
Hope to see this one!
This game page has many download links of the game ISOs, patches and materials. The patches can help enable this game to be played on Windows Vista and 7 and straight from the hard drive without needing a CD.

Such a great game, good graphics for the time period and the storyline was awesome! We need this in our lives again!
Can someone please help me. I played Starseige for years. Then life got busy. I would love to play again. Can someone please help in directing me on how to get going again? My Email is wetile@yahoo.com. Thanks a million for any help.
Honestly I love this game, from the story and its universe all the way down to how detailed the HERC customisation was. I could literally spend hours tinkering away with mine and my squads HERCs. Please make this work!!

This installer will leave the game completely playable on new computers without needing the discs to play, but you will need copies of both discs for the installation.
Starsiege was the first ever PC game I got to play next to Mahjong or whatever its called. I've had a craving for starsiege ever since my childish CD care involved not putting them back into the case, and it cracked. Finally, after 12 years it's in my hands again WOOO HOOO!
Just picked up Starsiege disks and I've installed on Windows 10 with a simplified version installer and IMD-II which helps with audio. I'm stuck with a 5-minute crash every time, I imagine its something to do with the graphics.
Anyways the story is beyond any game I've played up to date, and the graphics are manageable. Sorry, Titanfall and Mech Warrior but you guys don't cut it.
Now if only GOG made it happen and I wouldn't have to go through all the bullsh*** to get this to work! haha. GOD SMILES UPON US!
What is that GLITCHES. Love this game please program it to work. You have made Slave Zero. Surely you wouldn't mind making Starsiege happen.
What I wouldn't give for a working copy of this game......
best game of all time
Make it happen GOG!!
Give me!
It is true that most of the Earthsiege/Starsiege/Tribes franchise has been released for free, and the newer Tribes games more or less work on modern systems (with some easy-to-find patches for new community-run multiplayer servers) but the older parts of the series need help. Metaltech: Earthsiege (1) is a DOS program, Earthsiege 2 won't even install on 64-bit Windows (could be just the installer, but no way to know) and Starsiege runs in a really small window / area in upper left corner and does not respond to mouse clicks on Win7 64-bit. Also the original Metaltech: Battledrome is missing, as are the spin-off CyberStorm turn-based strategy titles.
The versions released for free appear to be completely unchanged from their original releases, making them unplayable on modern systems. That, at least, was my experience.
Well, good news: all the earth/starsiege and tribes games (up to vengeance) are now freely available at www.tribesuniverse.com
"...Down came the Glitches and burned us in ditches, and we slept after eating our dead". Yep, I really miss this game.
I've got many fond memories of this game. Unfortunately I can't get my CD copy to work in Windows 8 or any emulators on other systems. If GOG could revive it in a Windows-8-compatible way, that would be wonderful!
I played this game a lot back in the day, great back story, well written, fun game play, never understood why it wasn't more popular.
@Onyx3173: While I have no evidence for it, I assumed as such since they are both set in the same universe, that the IP might extend to the Earthsiege trilogy as well. But as I said, going out on a limb. ;)
And about the link, I downloaded Starsiege Complete from that site last year, and played through both campaigns and played on some of the AI war maps hosted online. Besides the taskbar pushing the screen up occasionally when the it loads you into a map( which a quick pause and alt-tab can solve), the game works well enough on my 64 bit Windows 7. No crashing or freezing happened to me.
Oh how I miss this game. I'd love for us to get it on gog or something similar.
@RedDragon294 Nothing like a 8-9 month late response. I think the rights for Tribes and Starsiege might be actually be separate though I'm not sure. And does that download actually work on Windows 7 x64? Last I'd heard even the Vista patch for it doesn't make it actually playable anymore.
Well said, MaxBooger. It was a pretty cool feeling on that first Cybrid mission, with everyone freaking out and me realizing "Oh, yeah, I'm their worst nightmare returned!"
...then I killed my first human pilot and suddenly it wasn't so fun.
An amazing game. The Cybrid campaign was sooo different from the human campaign. The latter tugged at your heartstrings, the former demanded you disregard your heart and think like a machine. Really great writing, solid mechwarfare combat and amazing variety with mech configuration. Very few know of this game, which is utterly sad. If there had been no :Tribes piracy idiocy, Starsiege would have been in contention for GOTY for 1999.
YES. SO YES.
I spent so much time playing this game... It was my first FPS-style game I ever played ("There are no visible people in it!" is how my dad rationalized it to my mom ;) ). Having a version that is automatically compatible with W7 would be SO MUCH WIN.
@Onyx3137: I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess Hi-Rez Studios has the license for the series, since they made Tribes Ascend.
Also, While I'd gladly pay for a perfectly-working-compatible version, if anyone here wants a pretty good method to play while waiting, here's a link to a pretty good site with a full, free download.

I missed Starsiege when it came out. I've always wanted to play it since. All the focus Tribes got annoyed me. Anyway, make it happen GOG.
I really liked Starsiege, but strangely enough, I like Earthsiege 2 better.
SO MUCH WANT. One of the best games I ever played when I was younger. Still got the CDs, but can't play it on Win 7. >_<
I feel like Starsiege was the best mecha game ever made, yet very little attention was paid to it because of the Mechwarrior series, and because it dared to do something other than boring old torso-twisty mechanics. Starsiege had a memorable story playable from both sides of the conflict and a very strong online multiplayer component. Its netcode was far superior to that of its competitors, and it unlike them it had a built-in server browser and even IRC. It was also relatively easy to mod, although no serious mods were ever created to my knowledge.
This is the only mech game I've ever really liked. I'm curious though how likely it is that GOG would get it seeing as Dynamix went out of business. Does anyone even own the rights or anything to it anymore?
Simply put, one of the best mech games ever made..scratch that..one of the best games of any genre ever!
I would gladly send my Compendium to GOG if they asked to scan it and include it as a bonus. It has a very complete and rich history of the preceding two Earthsieges.
