teejoow For those saying that it can't be played on modern systems: there is a tool called DxWnd. With it, original BotF works fine on a modern Windows 11 system. It will crash sometimes but because it's a turnbased game with autosave, it's not that bad.

ArronDominion Know this game is probably in license purgatory since it was a Microprose release, but it would be cool to see come back. It was a deep 4X strategy game that I only was able to play a couple of times. Would purchase if it arrived.

Jayeeniac Why hasn't digital version of BoTF been added yet? This was one of my favorite Star Trek games. I still have the disk for this game but my laptop doesn't have a disk drive. I'd rather purchase a digital version of the game then buying an external floppy drive. C'com GOG...get with it.
