Sorcerer King is a new upcoming 4X game by Stardock. Its basically a game where you build up your empire to defeat the evil ruler. Your kingdom is in rubbles like all the others and you have to kill the Sorcerer while he does not need to destroy you - he just needs to find the remeaning magical shards and obsorb their power to become invincible. So the game is a bit different then other similar games like Warlock, Falles Enchantress or Civilization games since in this world you don't fight against several upstart nations. You just have to kill the Sorcerer King - but to get there you need to defeat his Empire in order to kill him :) A bit different take on the 4x genre for sure. The game was released on 16.7.2015. Hurray :-) . Now if only it was released also here on GOG.
