tfishell The release wouldn't be a remaster, it would simply be the DOS version running in DOSBox, probably for $5.99 like most other DOS games here. If you would honestly be okay purchasing this, please do vote. :)
MrNobodyWTB As anti consumer as it could be, and not earn the company any credit, I'm sure people would even pay 40 for a proper port if it was demanded. Not even thinking about any sort of remaster either, Just proper controls setup. Hate to admit it to companies, but the idea was so amazing/simplistic and executed perfectly. It's a game that created such die hard fans that we all crave an officially supported way to play besides emulators and/or keeping around and old tv that supports the input.
kayleighb I've seen this available as "free/abandonware" so it may even have been reliscensed into the public domain or something? I'm not sure on how all of that stuff works legally but it could potentially be eligible for release in a similar manner to Beneath A Steel Sky and the other free games here on GOG, if not I'd still totally pay for it.

thedutchghost I think it should be available on GOG as it is one of those unique little simulation toys that was never tried again by anyone else, and that is a shame.

Maui_Lion I'm really, really surprised that this game isn't in GoG's library. The game is abandonware by this point, and I know the GoG team would be able to get it running smoothly for people in this day and age. I used to play it on my SNES all the time, it was fun!
Thermal_Shock I truly miss the sim series of games because we'll never see more gems like this one.

Knuckles316 I played this on SNES back in the day but somehow never played the PC version. I saw that it is abandonware now and was gonna try downloading it but it does not want to cooperate with my computer and I don't want to spend all day messing with things trying to emulate a DOS machine to run it.
Maui_Lion I only had this game on the SNES, and got to thinking about it today when the subject of ants came up. I loved playing it all the time back then, and I ended up learning a ton about ants. It's a very fun game! I'd love to get the chance to play it again!

mothwentbad This one probably didn't age well, but I loved it at the time. Would be worth a few bucks just to have it on file. Also, the extended manual with fun ant facts would make for an amazing chunk of bonus content. I forget if this was just basic Sim Ant, or if it was a special edition, or what, but it was about a half inch thick and chock full of Trophallaxis humor.
cloveious I rented the SNES version a bunch of times and loved it. I had the CD-ROM version. It had some sort of glitch where the spider would come along and shoot lasers annihilating my colony. The CD ROM version is the most frustrating piece of crap. So if you bring this game can you not have laser spider. Thanks

RaginRondo Classic Sim game. Still have the original floppy, and still upset the promised CD-Rom version that was advertised never came out. :( The comments the ants and spiders would make in game were hilarious. That spider got insane once it got its laser upgrade though.
