Djaron the reason why we sadly cannot get Silent Hill 2 (which is awesome) PC Port and Silent Hill 3 Pc port either, is only because, by the time before Konami released Silent Hill HD collection, they already had LOST the source code for both games... AS such, team in charge of HD collection had to deal with intermediary beta code and bugs that the initial team already had fixed before on final versions, plus difficulties in porting them on other platforms....
As such, if the publisher/developpers LOST the source codes for PC versions of the games, it won't be possible for them to have GOG tech team remove DRM and release them here. As simple as that ! A major (once upon a time) publisher which had major ip franchises, gold in their hands, managed to waste and loose 2 installments of one of their major IP...
I'm so sad... I had so much hope when i saw MGS 1 and 2 and SH 4 coming here one week after another... But the streak of konami pc ports sadly ends here...
Sheridan_JK2 It's embarassing Silent Hill 1-Downpour aren't on PC already, and as well on GOG with full patchwork. Even Shattered Memories... I mean Jesus Christ if Death Stranding can get ported to PC....
Slick_JMista The PC port already exists. All they need to do is add widescreen and 4K resolution support.
muppetsocks So Konami can upload Silent Hill 4 but not the first two games remastered?????? Seriously, how freaking hard is it to roll up all the mods and patches into one bloody release for Silent Hill 2???? They would have already been making money by now.
