Kanlep Maybe when VII comes out we'll be able to get Civ V and VI from GOG?
BurlyHeart Played my first Civ game (IV) recently and hungry for more. Would love to get VI with all the DLC in one package here on GOG (I won't buy elsewhere).

TSVOD Though I have both Civ 5 and 6 (with ALL extras & updates ...) at STEAM, I would not hesitate to buy them ALL at GOG !!!
And not just to annoy STEAM, but because I support freedom for gamers and want to avoid STEAMS recurring technological problems ... ;-)

djohnil123 Was looking to re-buy this game for my girlfriend so we could play together. Incredibly disappointed it is not available. Will probably try and get her into Stellaris or another strategy game that is available on GOG. Very disappointed in 2k. Games are not cheap and not being able to legitimately "own" them is a huge problem. Steam is great but their DRM is unnecessary and intrusive.

Vinry_. Just finished watching the launch trailer for the game and thought to myself, "THIS GAME SHOULD BE ON GOG!" But of course, I wouldn't mind if the Civ V were to arrive first. :D

Perhaps once Civ VI is out later this year, they may be more willing to release older Civ's onto GOG to milk the cash cow some more. I would certainly buy all the old games again so that I can finally drop steam.

Hakuso3 Yeah, 2K needs to get over here, pretty much the only thing I still buy on Steam are their games, but since I have CIV V I won't be buying VI unless it's here. Maybe VII on Steam, but I went from III on disc to V on Steam without buying IV. I can skip a game or two again.
I'd buy it full price here, too. CIV V was $15 with all the DLC before I shelled out to Steam.
ryo_wufei I won't push my hopes too high to have that one on GOG but it would certainly be nice! Anything to avoid Steam...
