Chiyou Shenmue is the only way that GoG will get mass acceptance, I like GoG but the one thing Steam has over it is Shenmue 1 & 2 (and 3)

XboxClown89 We already have Shenmue 3 on here. Now we just need the first two entries to complete the Shenmue trilogy. These games were truly ahead of their time. To some degree still technically are.

ToxorAxiom Whereas great games focus on mechanical depth of gameplay and modern games focus on depth of graphical prowess, the Shenmue series is unique for focusing on depth in between: in its story, its characters, its music, sound effects and world-building detail. The result is a deeply heartfelt series for those susceptible to its charms, critical pooh-poohing be damned from the likes of otherwise-on-point reviewers Ben Croshaw and Jeff Gerstmann. I hadn't played it for my first time until two years ago... and even then, I ended up playing it twice in a row! I hope SEGA will one day bring these two classics to GOG.

Hakuso3 Honestly, I think we have a better chance of getting Shenmue 3 than we do of getting 1 & 2.
Deep Silver, while they have their issues, are worlds better than Sega in every way.
Especially in GOG releases.
