Isometric CRPG developed/published by Bothtec in 2001 for Windows 98/ME. Translation-hacking will likely require the same effort as for Recur of Origin; Web Archive.org should still host patches for this game and its predecessor.

Continuing from the first Relics game on Windows, The 2nd Birth is set many years following the aftermath of the Relics Point incident. A group of MARX colonists are now able to use body-snatching powers themselves, entrusting Randy, a soldier, with this ability out of good faith. They're soon thrust into war against the Mutants, the very first inhabitants of the alien world the MARX have settled; naturally, this means more adventuring.

Players can now fight alongside two other party companions, allowing for more complex battles and exploration. Characters can be of different Latencies (ranging from Hell to Heaven, MARX to Mutant) affecting their place in the story + role-playing options. Statistics and perishable items make a return, and a new IP-to-IP online multiplayer component features in The 2nd Birth.
