Unreal_Reality_2 Yes. Yes. A trillion times yes!!! There's really no way to permanently own the game unless you spend hundreds of dollars on a PS Vita, plus a physical copy of the game.
DilzwieldKing I ended up just buying a physical version of this game for the Vita. No way am I buying the Steam version, I have no idea why they coupled a 10+ year old game with Denuvo
FirestormMk3 This would be a quick purchase to me. I refuse to by titles with Denuvo and SEGA loves putting that in everything. It's why I was so pleasantly surprised to see some of their other games come here. To those saying this game having Denuvo on Steam means it will never come here I'd be inclined to agree up until when they brought the Yakuza games over. Almost all of those have Denuvo on Steam and they still got a release here. It also showed a willingness to sell their Japanese titles rather than just western ones on GOG, as those titles didn't always have Denuvo on other storefronts anyway.
I learned my lesson with SecuROM. The day a game I was gifted refused to let me boot it while my internet was down because Denuvo couldn't authenticate is the day I swore to never buy one. I have physical games that used SecuROM and so won't run now. Any game with Denuvo is just a rental you lose as soon as they close down the authentication servers, and that's even if it didn't cause performance issues. Denuvo is a deal breaker and unlike Capcom, SEGA doesn't usually remove it from their games after the launch window.
Mak3dir After the successful addition, and now expansion of the Yakuza line-up on GoG, I'd love to see the Persona series, P4G especially, DRM free here too
YZ1DRFL Sega is putting games on GOG right now (Alien Isolation and Two Point Hospital), albeit slowly. I'd say its unlikely to happen, but this and the other Persona ports would be a done deal purchase on GOG for me.
daveyd Considering the Steam version has Denuvo seems unlikely it will ever be released here. If it is I would buy it to see what all the fuss is about (never played any persona game, I don't like anime, seldom like JRPGs, but everyone seems to love this game so I feel like I should give it a chance).
