Malek86 This one was a very good point and click adventure. Unlike other games in the genre, you didn't progress just by solving puzzles - the puzzles were used to uncover music-related questions, and then you need to input the answers into a diary to proceed. If you aren't up to speed with musical theory, the in-game library can be accessed from the main menu and contains tons of info. It was localized in several languages too (originally in German, but it's also available in English, Italian and French at the least).

JOSHItheDrako this one always kicked my ass... hard... I have so no knack for music... in fact, it is usually the auditory-puzzle in most adventure games that gives me the hardest time... that darn piano in myst or that listen-then-replicate puzzle in informaticus! the first one I solved thanks to finding the hints, but the latter was the ONLY time in the game I absolutely needed that walk-through that came on the second disc.
