oOkukukachuOo I loved this game and all it's surrealism. I would get far into this game, but I wasn't ever able to complete it. It would crash when I got to a certain part. The same thing happened when I played Dragon's Lair. For so long I wasn't able to complete it because of bugs, but because these games get some love we are able to play them once more. Please show some love to this game as it is just a trip and it's worth bringing back.

This is in my top 3 all-time best adventure games I've ever played. Love this game. As good as Riven and any in the Myst line. I am adding my voice hoping GOG will add Obsidian.

megatroll2590 this is one of the stranger games I own. I am tired of the work around to get it running. I play it once in a while but takes jury rigging to run and it would run better if gog worked on it.

rhartness I would definitely love to see this on Gog. I recall buying it as a kid when i needed a Myst-like fix. It's not Myst, but it definitely fit the bill and was actually far better than I'd expected. Also, if the game is re-released, please try to see if a soundtrack can be provided. I don't think one was ever released, so it'd have to be extracted from source or provided by the developer. That said, this is a great game and one worthy of having wider accessibility.
starla9 Welp, I just lost my copy of Obsidian and the strategy guide in a flood. Physical copies seem rare but I've found a few, the strategy guide however.......I saved it specifically for 20 years because it added so much to the game. I can't find it for sale, or scans, or anything anywhere. My heart hurts. This game and its guide need digital preservation.
starla9 Obsidian is the number one adventure game I would LOVE to be able to play again. 20 years later, I still think about that game. Which was as intended. The strategy guide added so much by going into some of the philosophical/scientific concepts presented. The environments, the music...it's one of the most memorable games I've played. I love it and miss it dearly.

ObscureEmpyre Download Virtualbox (free), find a Windows XP 32-bit ISO, and install it. I was able to play Obsidian just fine... save for the screen resolution was a bit small. Otherwise, yeah. I'd LOVE for this to be released via GOG!
newfster For the love of God bring this game to GOG! I have it here in my original big box I purchased upon game release but it will not play in new PCs... totally bummed as I have fond memories of beating this back in 1996 and was blow away at how amazing an experience it was. PLEASE find a way to make this run on windows 10!

VinsanityV22 There are a couple SegaSoft games I'd like to see resurrected on GOG, though I doubt its possible (I don't even think Sega owns Segasoft's stuff anymore, somehow). This is on top of the list, but also The Space Bar, Plane Crazy, Vigilance and I think Recoil (Zipper Interactive) were all Segasoft too. They put out some great stuff back in the "Heat.net" days!
azrael- Would love this on GOG. For the simple reason of finally being able to play it. Still have the game in mint condition from way back when, but was never able to really play it because of technical issues (one of the discs must've been a bad pressing).
SBGC_Jammer I'd buy, at minimum, 3 copies of this. One for myself, one for my fiancee, and one to just frame and look at on the wall, because this game is that great.
I know it's hard to physically frame software, but I'm prepared to try for Obsidian.
