juanitogan Just a note that I'm the one who built the patch that keeps this game running on modern Windows (namethattech.wordpress.com/2016/01/18/fixing-up-old-computer-games). Also wrote tools to port the help file to a modern help file recently. GOG is welcome to contact me regarding using the patch (which is open source, but a contact and credit would still be cool) or to even hire me ^_^ . But, the patch isn't the roadblock here. It's the rights. Best guess is that Hi-Rez Studios currently owns the rights. If they have the source code too, that would be even better. I would love to work with it to make better patches and up the "rez." Have considered launching an open-source spinoff instead (much like how Civilization has open spinoffs) but too busy failing at paying the bills right now for such grand adventures.

mhilpert Would love to see it on GOG. Great strategy game with a good balance between combat tactics, ressource management and Hercs (mechs) customization.
The evolution curve is also great. Would buy in a blink of an eye.

DaemonMax I still hope for someone to care about thees series (earthsiege and all) along with some other "hidden gem" games like Shattered Steel (and it's wished-but-never-to-be-done sequel). But mostly for the first MFC, mainly because was a game that kept me going back (until i couldn't anymore).

hunterthompson89 This would be an instant buy for me. I can't think of any game that does turn based mech combat better. For that matter, it's better than almost any modern turn based game period.
vulchor This is my favorite mech game of all time! I really really hope that GOG manages to get this amazing classic gem in their library. We have other Sierra games, so why can we have this?
Baanaanaa I loved this game. Would love to play it again. It became so hard to get it to run on modern hardware - seems an odd concept that 20 yeas on a computer cant run ancient hardware. I fully agree with most posters - THIS is what keeps me coming back to GOG. You make it, we will all buy it. Please. Pleeeaaassse!!!!

Es ist sehr Schade das dieses Spiel hier nicht erhältlich ist da es recht Einzigartig ist in der Kombination bei Rundenbasierenden Strategiespielen...
1. man befehligt bemannte Kampfroboter
2. die Berechnung der Bewegungspunkte ist Einzigartig
3. man kann seine Mechs sehr individuell ausrüsten
4. die Ausbildung der Piloten mit begrenzter Lebenszeit
5. auf dem Schlachtfeld ausrichtbare Schilde der Mechs sehr Taktisch
es war bestimmt noch Luft noch Oben in Dingen wie Künstliche Intelligenz, Grafik und anderen Bereichen aber es war verdammt nochmal das beste Strategiespiel was ich je gespielt habe und das waren etliche in diesem Sinne ich hoffe GOG fast sich ein Herz und holt diese Perle zurück

Mackledog Old but Gold! I loved the Cyberstorm game as a kid. I have all my old disks and I use a VM to play it still! I would love to see this game on GOG!

Mithril.218 I'm lucky I've kept this CD all these years. It is a fun game to get back to once in a while. I would be more happy if it was here on Gog, since CDs are going away fast. Even as an included part in newer laptops.

Taggert Spent my childhood learning this game and loved it. Recently tried for hours to get it to work on my 64 bit Windows 7 computer with no luck. Even tried Virtual PC and had no luck. PLEASE BRING THIS TO MODERN PCS!

Mazikar This is one of the few games I beat from beginning to end multiple times just to try out new ways of doing things. Loved it, one of the better turn based games, up there with MAX

DaemonMax I've got some great news: We can thank the people from "Name that Tech" making avaliable a patch to fix issues with old sierra games, wich fixes the problems with Cyberstorm (YAY!!!) so we can manange to play in newer plataforms! But still... would it look great in a HD plataform???

DaemonMax i don't know about you guys... this was my first stategy game and i spent everlasting hours on this, and at the time i also wished Earthsiege 2, but never had the chance to buy or play. An HD version would also be amazing to play, since my old PC it's retired (it still works but i don't have where to use it, not enought space) I can't play the original CD on my notebook, it wont work. and the nostalgia is there everytime...

LeadProphet We still don't have this... what's the holdup? IP is practically dead; it's technically held by HiRez Studios but I'm not even sure they know it exists. Is making old Windows games compatible actually harder than making DOS/Amiga games compatible?
Anyway, games like this are the reason GOG is on my radar. Please make this happen soon. I will buy it, and copies for my friends.
