Minecraft
I voted, but I think we all know that this isn't going to happen before Microsoft first makes the decision to sell it on Steam.
You can check it out here: coimobile.io/es/minecraft/
I'd gladly pay GOG to own a DRM free copy of Minecraft. So ducking fired of Micro$oft's DRM. Game literally took a dump while I was playing last night. The solution? Downloading a new copy of OOSU Windows 10 ShutUp and running it. Duck you, Micro$oft.
Why is this game not here???

Portable Java Edition for gog!
+++
Wait a sec? So what is this exactly?
Bedrock/Java Editions
/extremely/ unlikely but it's okay for this wish to exist :)
The best I can ever offer is maybe buying 10 people the pocket edition as it's cheap, and I have bought and gifted out pocket edition for people before! But honestly it's a cheap game! I own Java and Bedrock and Pocket as that's all I ever will need to play on! But they do have a free trial version if you save and back it up and use tool assists you can actually get very far and even beat the trial most likely - you get 90 mins! I prolly played 30 worlds by restarting before i commited to the game full on :) "Angeldust" on Steam is free btw - you claim land you buy blocks or mine blocks you build house on your starting plot or go to the wilderness and claim up to 64 chunks and enjoy some very fun building possiblilities on "Angeldust" it's so far been one of the latest games I have played because it has currency and mounts and an online community and far as similarities go it's similar in so many ways to Minecraft :)
You need a Mojang account to play minecraft (unless if you use a cracked minecraft, but thats not very legal so you'll never see that on GOG). So if you buy minecraft on another site (wich you can't, at least not in a clean and secure way) than Mojang, you'll still have to go on Mojang to create an account. So selling minecraft somewhere than on Mojang is quite stupid.
To quote one of Minecraft's randomly chosen title messages: "Also try Terraria!" (Which 'is' available on GOG.)
This isn't going to happen because Minecraft has online account DRM.
Why not ?
Microsoft bough mojang (something like that) but now it's for windows store and every other system out there, i'm pretty sure it's not coming to gog anytime soon since you can still play Alpha version on the java version
I don't understand why minecraft is not here. I had my version since 2009 when it was InfDev, didn't need anything but an installer. No internet needed
This would be really cool. Maybe they could release a more trimmed-down version of the game DRM-free. No Minecraft account, no online servers (basically only LAN). Maybe even just an older version of the game.
Stupid kid .......
Maybe 10 or more years later down the road when Mojang stops development and Minecraft has gathered dust, but right now with its current popularity, Minecraft is not old.
i know right now the "worth while" version of minecraft is under microsoft contract, but once its up gog would be smart as hell to pick this up... and idiotic of they didnt try at all...
Minecraft isn't *old*. If I'm not mistaken, you can still get it from the publisher. The GOG team's time would be better spent on the good old games of the days of yore, that one thinks of fondly from time to time but can't hardly find anywhere save for a ridiculously overpriced Ebay auction.
Oops, I did allready post :). Now, if I only could remove my comment...
1. Minecraft is NOT DRM free as it needs you to log in the first time you install it.
2. At the moment I don't see any point in releasing it here as of the frequent updates. But when Minecraft is "finished", ofcourse, why not. A gog release would be awesome.
I love GOG and I love Minecraft, so it would be a sweet marriage if they were to offer it here, as a good alternative to Steam. I remember an interview Mojang saying they like Steam but it doesn't fit their business model. Might be they like GOG more, who knows :)
@glaux; Not entirely true. It has an online DRM protection. BUT, it's only the first time that you start the game that you have to log in to your account. You do ofcourse have to sign in each time you reinstall the OS or manage to remove that file that sais you have a valid copy.
I don't like having to sign up to loads of sites to buy games so if it were to be sold here that would be great.
Someone should tell GOG about this policy of not carrying titles which are available DRM-free elsewhere; then they can purify their current catalogue to fit the doctrine. After wallowing in shame, obviously.
Minecraft is great, but it is already available DRM-free on all platforms, it doesn't belong here.
No. Please no. Don't put this immensely overrated garbage on GOG.
This is retarded, it is already DRM-free. hidden_fortress, you should be ashamed for putting this up here.
whats the point of having it here?
Buy minecraft from their site(www.minecraft.net/), its DRM-free over there. Why the heck is it on here?
The way Minecraft is published and designed it will never be on GOG unless it no longer is updated.
No, this is a terrible idea. Maybe in about 10-15 years(As said 2 comments down), but no, not yet.
@Dizzard: Steam is DRM, but gog isn't. ;)
Considering this isn't even on steam I don't this has a chance. Maybe in like 10-15 years when Minecraft is old news...but not now.
Can't seem to get a full copy of Minecraft ever, just the trail. I'd be great if GoG adds this! :]
