DaemonlordX Only MGS 3 and 4 wern't ported to PC. MGS1 works great except on Windows 10 due to the DRM (SafeDisc2) compatibility breaking without "alternative patching". MGS2 needs a proper fix or remaster but it can be made to work with tweaking of Graphics settings and some patches that exist.

Gorbebeh Hate to break it to you but the gun licenses ran out in 2012, that's the reason MGS V used fake frankenguns, it probably won't happen and you'd also be giving money to Konami.
mazewaliztli there was a MGS 2 substance version on PC, the 2.0 version works greats with some fix on some dll
xl9 Wasn't MGS2 broken on PC? I recall my friend saying he couldn't beat it. But the first is pretty good, even has specialized messages and a weapon on the PC.

Konami has zero incentive whatsoever to release a DRM-free version of these 2 triple A titles, you better off just getting those games on Steam.

GordanShumway MGS1 on PC was one of the better versions to play, convenience features, better graphics, great controller support (for the Sidewinder anyway) and I've had it run on modern hardware without any fiddling. Microsoft did a great job with it. I wish more Japanese companies would use their services.

SeeDub Metal Gear Solid for PC was a subpar port. the sound was horrid. If you have access to a playstation copy PCSX (configured properly) will make an excellent experience. The PC version is if you can't find another copy.
MGS2 on PC is an awesome experience. Konami at this time took advantage of the higher resolutions that PC's produced. The only way to get the substance skating was on the PS2 version.
AwesomeBrand VR Missions came with MGS1, as it was based on the Japanese "Integral" release.

We can't ask gog to port games over from the ps2, psp, and ps3 like Metal Gear Solid (MGS) 2: Sons of Liberty or MGS3: Snake Eater, or MGS4: Guns of the Patriots, or MGS: Peace Walker since those were never brought to PC. HOWEVER, we would love to see the original MGS (from 1998) on here as it was released on PC back in the day. We can also ask for the most recent releases, particularly MGSV: Ground Zeroes + The Phantom Pain. Please gog, you have no idea how much I would love to buy and play them from this site!
