Strachan1964 I wish this game would come back. I would pay a 100 bucks for Mech Commander the first game. The second game for me was just not as good as the first. I hate to think how many hours I had on this game. My x wife hated it. Back in the day we had thousands of player. We had clans and evern started a planter war run by a guy called Vern I think.

broodkiller Yeah, it's sad that MC1/MC2 are not here, played the shiz out of both of them many years ago, loved them a lot. Just went online and was flabbergasted that you can only get the MechCommander games as overpriced CDs on eBay... Come on GOG, do the right thing! :)

cgman I am really surprised that this will be what looks like the first topic on such a great game. Nostalgia hit me the other day and I was unable to get MC2 running on Windows 10. Since Mech Commander 2 has been released as Open Source for some time. I would pay a few dollars to to get a working executable with Windows 10 support.

GoGoGadgetBtch One of the first and most favorit mech games i've played, I was young and just getting into gaming. After all these years the memory of it is fresh even though i havent played it in more than 15 years. Would love to see it on Gog.com!

bkitchens Oh yeah! One of my favorite games ever. Love building custom Mechs and selecting pilots. Missions were so fun! Commanding a squad of mechs as a 3rd person commander is soooo fun.

Bearhug_at Please bring back a working, complete version of both MC games GOG. Those games caught best the spirit of the tabletop games then any other Battletech game out there.

Mtlguy Microsoft is giving this game and its predecessor away for free, but with the videos of talking heads removed.
PrideofPryde Never really able to get it to work very well, and infinity ammo is turned on by default which marks it down but I would give $5 for it.
Ludeman both are good but MC2 is a much better game
urknighterrant Freeware version has some significant disadvantages. No video support. No multi-player. It kinda sucks, actually. I'd much rather see the full version brought back.
