cwoltering I would love to see this game added! The single player campaign kept me entertained for hours on end.
Morg77 I had this and the expansion pack, Spells of the Ancients. Used to love playing it online as well. Even played against someone that said they were in the Virgin Islands. Would be great to get this game and possibly the multiplayer aspect working again. The network that was hosting this game has long since turned into a porn site. (getting the multiplayer working or not would not impact my purchasing this game instantly upon being available.)
LongStepMantis I'm pretty sure the game in question here is the WIndows 95 version, not the recent edition. To this day, no card game has even touched this one, imho. If only the newer versions had some of the things this title did, specifically the single-player "Shandalar" campaign. Taking a basic deck and exploring an RPGish world, earning new cards by beating wandering monsters, exploring dungeons for rare cards, the quests, or even buying them from town merchants! It was a true gem.
jsjrodman Yeah but stainless likes to ignore the bugs in their products and release the bugfixes as an update that you pay 20 bucks for. Oh, you didn't want to purchase 2013 edition to get it working?
Kheperu Man, it would be great to get this working properly in Win7! There are several guides about installing this on newer systems, but none work really well.
