Mafia 1's licensed music

GOG's Mafia release "does not contain any licensed music - only the game's original soundtrack" referring to "Orchestral Score composed by Vladimir Šimůnek".

The return of the licensed music to Mafia 1 is *extremely unlikely* mainly because of the cost, but I wanted to create a wishlist item anyway just to give a voice on the matter.

I'm strongly for this because the game is quiet and empty and sad without the music that came with it. It's quite plainly not the same game without it. I wrote a review on the game page and I hope everyone checks it out. I played the original mafia 1 on disks and while it had its issues, it was still an amazing game that nobody has ever been able to match ever since.

The game is kind of incomplete without this, so I'm really hoping GOG is working on it. But at least the unofficial guide works fine.

This situation kind of reminds me of the Sega's music license issue with Crazy Taxi. I'm glad there is way to put in the original music thank you for the link. :)

Maybe GOG can sneak up original CD image in release as it did for Quake. That wouldn't be ideal but it would be something :)
