Kind of like a precursor to The Sims or Tamagotchi, this Activision title had a cross-section of a 3-story house, wherein you would watch a little guy and his dog go about their little life "inside" the computer. Parsing your text input, you could interact with him in a limited way, telling him to play songs on the piano or do various things about the house. There was very little micromanaging, you just watched him go about his business in the house. Less of a "game" per se, and more a piece of charming engineering and AI, it nevertheless was memorable for giving kids the illusion that a little person was living inside their computer (and not so much in a creepy way).

Can't find DOS or Windows version but commodore 64 converted to a cartridge format would be nice, there is also a tool to evict the little people from the house.other possible game name:house-on-a-disk

This is the exact game I want to come to GOG. I think it would be good because there is no way to play this game legally today except to buy a 1980s computer so it's like people who wanted to play the game would be forced to come here.

I was just playing sims and I had this sudden memory of this little computer person that used to live inside my friends C64. I'm sure we spent hours watching him do next to nothing at all.

I loved this game. It was so simple, but you really felt connected to the Little Computer Person.

Also, this is a fairly simple game, though, so I can imagine it being reborn as a mobile game.
