"Lemmings" series
Please add the games to the catalogue and preserve them under "GOG Preservation Program". These are the ultimate Good Old Game and can stand the test of time, if updated and fixed to work on modern systems.
When I was a child me and sometimes my parents with me would, spend many an hour trying to solve its mind bending puzzles. These games would teach patience as solving those puzzles would take time, attention and patience as well as at times a fair number of attempts.
I would like to have the capacity to be able to play them again and know that they will work on modern computers and keep working with each new OS release.
PLEASE!!!
i played a lot of lemmings before, though i still can. they should include a collection of all lemmings games: lemmings(both dos and windows versions with the beast levels), oh no more lemmings, lemmings 2 the tribes, all new world of lemmings, 3d lemmings and lemmings paint ball.
Why it's not on gog yet?
Would be nice to see Lemmings here.
Why isn't this series already on GOG?
I'll buy it 100% on GOG! =)
Lemmings was acquired by Sony. You might see it on PC again (they allowed Q*Bert Rebooted), but probably not other consoles.
I'm actually really surprised that nobody is selling the Lemmings games any more! Would love to have a go at these again, I still have my disk copy of 3D Lemmings but I haven't played Lemmings 1 or 2 since probably the mid '90s...
Still have my floppy disk of Lemmings for PC and have it working in D-fend in 286 mode. However I would probably recommend the Amiga versions as they have better music and features than the PC version.
I would still love to see this released here, with it pre-configured to run on modern (64-bit) systems.
PS: correction: Most of those Lemmings games are on abandonia
@wolfenstein74 All of these games are in the public domain and are available on abandonia. I recommend D-Fend reloaded for running DOSBOX, as it adds a windows-explorer-style frontend to the games--you just drop the zip into D-Fend Reloaded, choose the proper exe/bat/etc and it does all the dosbox settings for you.
