extent I would like to see Lemmings on here. It was published by Psygnosis which is now under Sony CE, but originally developed by DMA design (eventually renamed Rockstar North). I wonder if RSG would challenge Sony if released

DaemonlordX This is why copyright laws need to change. Sony is squatting on the Psygnosis catalogue and has done NOTHING OF VALUE with it! For the preservation of media and culture SONY should release the entire catalogue for legal purchase or be stripped of it given all games in it are OVER 27-38 YEARS OLD!!!!

edweird Yeah guys we know Lemmings can be found on abandonware sites, and that there are free clone games. That is no substitute for having it legally in our GoG collections. Sales could show the devs that there is enough interest to warrant a deluxe 'remaster', new sequel in classic style, or at least some bonus content and compatibility features.

Nervensaegen The official license is owned by Sony, who bought Psygnosis back in the day. Original Lemmings games are still being made with releases in 2006 and as recent as December 2018 on Android, even though no PC version was provided.
However, there is a modern Open-Source clone that was released in 2015 called "Pingus", obviously named thusly because Sony holds the rights to the trademark "Lemmings". 105 levels and a Linux version to scratch the itch until Sony can be bothered to give us the original.

Lemmings + Oh No More Lemmings plus a few special versions were how I learned to play games. Please, PLEASE, put these on GOG Galaxy 2. You would make money I guaranty people would buy all versions. The soundtrack must be the original though. People have been asking since 2012. Isn't that lone enough for a result? Oh yes, it was the first thing I looked for upon coming across GOG. It must be for Windows, Mac, and Linux, but I would take Mac first.

Javier42 I know a bunch of official and unofficial ports exist, but they're mostly terrible and lack features and are also different for each part of the series, which is complicating.
And Lemmings is definitely a Good Old Game (tm). I mean, c'mon! The ideas, the graphics, it's just so lovely and brilliant.
alainbonhomme HEY everyone I just thought you should know, the original Lemmings 95 is easily found on abandonware sites, is less than 2mb, and seems to run totally fine on Windows 10. Enjoy.
