reallysofthug Would love to see this franchise revived with actual HOTAS support as the game doesnt like more than about 2 analogue axis. Such a good game. PS1 version is the superior release, but would love for GOG to redeem it.

I had to patch the exe with a crack to run from an ISO
the issue is. all the cracks are patchers meant for windows xp and earlier. Had to install it on a virtual machine, crack it and copy the exe back onto my windows 10 install.

smdanjm This game was my childhood. I can confirm it works on Windows 10, the only bug is that joysticks do not work. They programmed some real hard copy protection into it so I couldn't get it to work with an ISO and I basically had to hunt for my original CD, but it works fine with that. Perhaps that's why it isn't on GOG yet? I dunno, but I would love to see it here someday.
The only programming issue with the game is that your VTOL's physics are tied to framerate, so the game becomes impossible to control at high refresh rates as everything moves way too fast and it becomes impossible to aim. The FPS has to be limited to 60 and then it controls well with keyboard. Oh my, I am so obsessed with this game.

Silvershock: Thanks a lot for providing guide on how to run this game on modern systems. I was blazed away when I could finally have a touch on this PC game again, however another very problematic thing is that without joystick, this game is actually not playable as it's very hard to use all those keys and it just simply doesn't go with keyboard only. I would be looking forward to have that support! I even tried to use very old Saitek Cyborg 3D joystick just to test it, but it was not working either.

Silvershock Fantastic game, would love to see it patched up for modern systems. I have the original PC big box and I can get it running without even using compatibility mode (see my updated instructions on the PC Gaming Wiki), but I can't get it to recognise my joystick.

Hellr0t It's one of the most underrated franchises of the 90s, and I'd love to properly play the PC version again.
B4PH0 Good ol'd G-Police. I loved this game so much back then in the golden PS1-Age! Would be aboslutely amazing to be able to play it again on PC. Fun fact: When you inserted the PS-Disc into a HiFi System and skipped the first track, you were able to enjoy the -actually pretty awesome- soundtrack :]
