leeonheart This 2009 cross-platform video game by Atari is a true sequel to Ghostbusters 2. It features Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, Dan Akroyd, Ernie Hudson and almost all of the cast from the original movie reprising their respected roles. This is by far the best Ghostbusters game ever made in terms of graphics, sound and gameplay and also a really good and entertaining game in its own right. A truly underrated gem that shouldn't be missed by the fans of the movie and gamers in general. Fezred It's a very faithful and good quality game for the franchise. Probably the best there's been on any system. I'd love for people to get this again and enjoy it. I've no idea why it was removed from Steam but it should be easily available somewhere once more. It is a great shame for it to basically be forgotten and lost.

Banjo_oz Exactly what others have said regarding their surprise GOG hasn't taken advantage of the recent Ghostbusters hype by offering the true Ghostbusters sequel to fans and gamers alike. Those who loved the new movie would want more, those who hated it would be sated by the original cast return. Everybody wins! I finally buckled and bought this game on Xbox 360's Games On Demand; usually I only buy physical console games, but it was just too hard to find here. I would gladly rebuy it on PC via GOG if made available. A game this good, this faithful to the source and this hard to buy in other ways is a prime candidate for GOG.
Fangsome No matter how potentially bad the cinematic remake looks like it could be, I'm astonished GOG hasn't taken advantage of the hype to retro-engineer this amazing game for modern systems. As with most, there are one or two frustrating sequences, but the vast majority is fun and the story and voice acting (from almost the entire original cast, for what was, sadly, destined to be the last possible time) is as dead on as you could ever wish for - no pun intended. Even Peck!
This was a great example of an entry in a series not just doing nostalgia trips for the superficial nudge-nudge, wink-wink value, but often weaving those elements specifically into the story as a whole.
Regardless of how the film ultimately turns out to be, this is the last true sequel to the series as it was. Please re-release this spectral classic so that we can experience what could have been!

tastymonkey I have the legit PC version with secure ROM on it. I would really enjoy getting a legit copy of it from GOG with it removed. Achievements are not needed but would be neat if they could be tacked on for the Galaxy client.

Taco Toosday I settled for buying this on Amazon, its DRM is not as ungodly as Riddick's so it wasn't too bad. Funny how this game is starting to disappear, I think Activision lost the license
NowaAnglia The Steam key for Ghostbusters is available at gamestop.com. You have to install their cockamamie impulsedriven/gamestop pc downloads app just to fetch your key, but you can uninstall it afterwards. I picked it up just before Halloween for 5 bucks, cheap. Who you gonna call?
weevil.122 I randomly caught this on Gametap back when that was a thing and was pleasantly surprised. I would love to be able to get this again, but I can't find it on any reputable digital retailer, and I'd be hesitant too as well since I can't find any mention of what DRM it has.
