I also need thsi game badly, it is free to download from the web, but the compatibility is a hard struggle. I would definitely pay for GOG for this game, I loved this game in my childhood, and now that my western hype got triggered again, I wish this game was already made ready to use on modern PCs. Please GOG I beg you, I beg you to make it available on your platform. I love you guys <3

Far west can be a good addition in gog library.

It need a lot of work for working in modern OS + fixed gameplay but worth it

Have this game on CD, but don't work with Windows 10, would like to buy this game again but on GOG. If The Wiggles was possible to release, have hope for Far West.

This was a lot of fun back in the day but it runs horrible on modern systems. Would be nice to see it on GOG at some point.

Far West, the true cowboy simulator. You manage a ranch in an old western setting, taking care of your cattle, hiring gunslingers to protect your stock from wildlife and bandits, sending caravans to town to buy supplies (beans, whiskey, ammo: the essentials for a cowboy), investing in local businesses to help create a bustling village (bringing new sources of revenue) and organizing large cattle drives to sell on cities afar. A good albeit unpolished management game in a then refreshing setting that was marred by some annoying bugs and glitches, not to mention an unintuitive UI. But it successfully displayed the hardworking life of real cowboys on the frontier that seems forgotten in most gun-touting old west videogames. While I still proudly own a boxed version, I can't make it run on newer machines... So please don't let it fall through the cracks into oblivion, GOG!
