Charodiy_UA Every DRM mechanism that was created was to reduce the number of game downloads by gamers who don't have the money to purchase the game. Some DRM comes with a bad reputation especially Denuvo because it is poorly realized, has a bad design, and affects the performance of the PC, and therefore the game. Game Developers and Publishers do not realize that, and bury their own masterpieces alive by adding such awful DRM to games.
So GameDevs, Publishers when will you finally understand that DRM is not a panacea and instead that you need to make something else so gamers will buy your games instead of downloading them for free from file-sharing services?!!
Here is one free advice I will give you - if gamer(s) do not have money to buy the game for the full price you can make a special section on the game's official website. There will be a form where gamers can describe why they cannot buy the game for full price or cannot buy the game at all. In return, you can give them a chance to show their creativity - to make a song for a future project, to make a sketch for a future game, to compose a poem dedicated to the Devs, etc.
That is how I see the right way to stop gamers from pirating and give them an opportunity to express themselves.
P.S. Do not forget about !!!optimization!!! of the games, because today it is one of the most hurtful aspects. When a game has a graphics level back from 2010 (that is not bad of course) but needs a high-end PC back from 2024 - That is the real problem that needs to be fixed once and forever!

FAR: Lone Sails is already available in the GoG store but I do not want to buy it without FAR: Changing Tides because I want to fully immerse myself in the world and story of both games. Without FAR: Changing Tide my experience will be incomplete.
Charodiy_UA Such DRM as Denuvo kills game industry and games for a lot of reasons! Poor performance, stutters, freezes, need to be online all the time while plaing the game - are the main reasons why Denuvo is a complete failure in terms of DRM security. Unfortunately Game developers and Publisher do not understand that and kill theirs masterpieces (including FAR_Changing Tides) instead of popularization DRM-free initiative. That is how Denuvo works - kills all wonderfull games where it is implemented!
