New World Gaming made this gem of a war strategy game. A must have for GOG.

I've supported this game for the last 17 years providing input and playtest. I have been into the 80's & 90's versions all the way up to EDIE, EDEE & finally EDCE. I'll be working to update the AI this year so perhaps now would be a good time for GOG to contact Killerbee software.

It seems there is a confusion. The game was made by New World Computing (1993), and now is Killer Bee Software. The last version is "Empire Deluxe Combined Edition" (2018)

Mark Kinkead / Killer Bee Software currently holds the rights for Empire Deluxe and Perfect General. He is currently running a Kickstarter campaign for Empire Deluxe Combined Edition. I asked him about getting the original games to gog, he said that he contacted them two years ago but never heard back from them.

One of my all-time favorites. Still have the manual and floppies, just don't have the machine to run them. Please, GOG, bring back the good times again like only you can do.

Empire Deluxe (or, better yet, Empire Deluxe Masters Edition) would be a great addition to GOG. Some even consider Empire to be the best wargame of all time for the PC.

There is a streamed version at Archive.org but you can't save games. I revisited it for a few hours and would love to be able to play properly again. I still have the files on PC but it is unplayable on Win7.

I played this game for many years, well into the late 90's. It's a classic and should be on GoG. I wish they'd make a modern sequel.
