Dinotopia is an Adventure game, developed by The Dreamer's Guild and published by Turner Interactive, which was released in 1995 for Windows 3.1. Dinotopia is a solid, nonviolent adventure game based on the books by James Gurney. It is an interactive world full of art, science, and invention. This 2D animated point-and-click recreation lets you play as Nathan, a young man who has been separated from his twin sister Constance as the result of a shipwreck. Dolphins have rescued the pair and transported them to the island. The game is an exploration of the world of Dinotopia and visits many of the areas--Waterfall City, Treetown, the World Beneath--made popular in the books. There are over 130 characters with whom to interact. I still own this game and the playing cards. Loved it as a kid. Great music.

I remember this game, I got a lot of enjoyment out of this one. Especially the treetown area. That was fun.

Copies of it are very difficult to find these days, but it's easily runnable on Vista if you use DOSBox. Thankfully I still have my CD of it (somehow) after all these years.

Well, I figure the chances of GOG picking this up are pretty much slim to none... but I'm throwing my vote on it anyway. I remember wanting this when I was a kid but never being able to find it anywhere. Its existence didn't seem to be acknowledged in stores anywhere I asked, and for a while I almost thought I had only imagined that it ever existed.
