johnny5wd Hellfire Expansion was a third party expansion published by Sierra On-Line. Those who are lucky enough to own it can find instructions to use it with the GoG release of Diablo 1 here:

Saamat It's possible to make: AB owns both Diablo and Hellfire. Hellfire won't run without Diablo, so it's win-win for Blizzard to have GoG add such an old programme on sale to take a share of the profits. Thumbs and Votes up
tfishell @EtaYorius: I'm quite sure it's outside GOG's control unfortunately; I can't see any reason why they'd reject it as including it would sell even more copies of Diablo 1 here. But I maintain the "it doesn't hurt to vote" stance (if you'd buy the expansion or buy Diablo if expansion is included) as that does help GOG know what to prioritize *trying* to bring.
EtaYorius Do we need to hit another 50k votes in order to get Hellfire? i don't think it's GOG say, i bet they would love to have it. So it's probably something to do with Blizzard. I think it's both Technical and because they don't love it much. I don't know how successful Hellfire was back in the day, but i remember reviews praising Hellfire, except for the lack of MP... which was Blizzard decision.

neosapian a 1000 votes from me(if I could) yes drives me nuts my original copy of HF doesn't work properly and isn't patched to go beyond the famer's "request he never lets on about". if you are selling Diablo sell the expansion that made it worth wile! Love the Monk!
Baldurs_Gate200 I'd love to see Diablo: Hellfire on GOG. It adds new monsters, a dungeon and difficulty levels in singleplayer. I find that really handy.

Ghartag I remember that Hellfire had funny bug. When you were fighting Diablo with staff, sometimes Diablo multiple :) once i was fighting four of them :) please bring it back too :)
Robbio44 Sierra merged with activision and then activision merged with Blizzard. Still,the old blizzard north team had issues with hellfire. Only time will tell if we get Hellfire. I am hoping blizzard put its pride behind and decided to release Hellfire. It is needed.
