RKTsune I was just getting into this game when they shut it down, needless to say I was more than a little cheesed off about it, I would greatly enjoy seeing it make a comeback.
Mephril As a fan of ARPGS and builtcrafting, I would love to be able to play Darkspore again. It had a lot of interesting ideas and themes going for it that I don't think anything else has managed to replicate. If the original release wasn't always online, I reckon Darkspore's longevity would've been immense. (And imagine the mods that could've been made for it as well!)
If GoG considers making Darkspore playable again, I would snap it up in a heartbeat.

FelsicCanis This game deserves to get a second chance. I absolutely adore spore, played it constantly as a child and still play I to this day. I never got to experience the spinoffs, and I'm hoping to change that someday. We need this game to be playable again
drbuckingham I would so love to play this again. I played it from 2011 up until the servers went down. Absolutely loved it. We played quite a bit of LAN co-op, but most of my time was solo.
Arkvold I never got the chance to play this when it was originally offered. It was criminally under-advertised and by the time I learned of it, its servers were dead. As a fan of looter-slashers like Diablo, and games with a high degree of character customization and personalization, my interest was piqued. Unfortunately, the servers being dead rendered the game unplayable.
The fact that killing the servers for it renders it unplayable is inexcusable behavior to begin with, especially for a game that's not designed as strictly multiplayer. I would love to see this return, but recoded so that it can operate wholly independently of EA's servers, functioning free and clear of DRM and external entanglements.

Sho_Pow Please don't give up, find others who can help carry the torch of reviving this unique game. I would do it myself if I too had the skills. Until then, I offer my appreciation and excitement for the mere chance this could happen. Persist! Think of the creativity and nostalgic joy for so many people. I'll NEVER forget this game or what this project and its developers have done for it.

I loved the innovative team combinations influencing the players skillbar and opening up so many possibilities.
I looked far and wide since then for something similar... and only found other ARPGs which just didn't have the features Darkspore offered. Mainly the ability to apply the gear directly to the character and change its looks drastically.
I miss this game dearly.

lrpeters Enthusiastically agree with all comments. The developers at Resurrection Capsule are amazing. If there's anything gog can do to help this effort to save this game (and in doing so, fight back against big gaming's disregard for players who purchase their games in good faith they will continue to be playable) they should. A platform like gog supporting this heroic effort would be a solid step in this very important direction.

fangGWJ Such a tragedy since this ideally was my ultimate game: a diablo clone where you can make your own hero!
Unfortunately they over designed it with preset colletible heroes so I never played it and lost out on the enhanced creature editor.
Epistaxis I really miss the heck out of this game. I twas the only spore game I enjoyed and so very relaxing to play.
Not a week goes by that I wish it was still up and running.
PLEASE consider taking this under your care since EA want nothing more to do with it.
