Dare To Dream
I would definitely pick this up. Only ever had the Shareware as a kid and would love to play it all the way through!
I remember playing this in High School. Only the first episode because all I could afford was Shareware. I remember it being a trip. The empty streets at night were eerie, like all the people were gone. It would be interesting to come back to this. It might be fun. If nothing else but for the nostalgia factor.
Let's revive this wish now that some of the other Epic MegaGames titles are available.
I've been dying to play the full version since I played the shareware all those years ago!
I would really love to play this game
Also, I have the full game files if that helps..
Dare to Dream is a simple point and click adventure with 3 episodes. It was released in 1993 for Windows (3.1?) and follows the story of a young boy, Tyler, who is being troubled by his dreams.
As his dreams progressively turn from harmless fantasy to inescapable nightmares it becomes increasingly difficult to distinguish them from reality, leading to him having to delve further into his own subconscious and uncover the cause of his anguish. If he cannot prevail then he may remain trapped in this nightmare with whatever monster is trying to escape the confines of his mind.
It's a nice simple game with relatively easy puzzles and is sure to provide a great nostalgia trip for those that grew up with it.

I recently read a play through of this game and it's more awful then I remembered it as a kid. Still, being one of Cliffy B's first games, and one of the oldest games I still have but no longer works due to the disks being old and somehow deleted, I don't know. Nostalgia is definitely the only reason I wish it was easier to get this game. You can buy it from Epic Classic games site but they don't have an online way to order it, you have to print out a form and mail it in with a check. It's all very back alley almost like they don't want you to get their old games. I don't get it.
