IckieStickie you lot here why wait for GoG to sell this if theyw ere going to do it they would of done it by now,so just get on Ebay in your country and BUy a big boxed version like me make sure you got a win 98 or xp machine to run it on and youll be fine IF anyone knows where ic an get the Game Update(apperntly there is one out there somewhere) pls let me know here ill check back daily for a bit
IckieStickie ive today recieved my copy of Cutthroats Big Box edition and it works superbly well on my spare xp machine in the bedroom! Having a bllast from the past thats for sure!

TeaCharmer Please GOG, I'm pretty sure (or at least hopeful) that this one is reasonably easy to get. Eidos was "embraced" by Embracer and you got lots of their other titles. I know it's a pretty niche and under-the-radar game, but so are so many other games in your ever-growing catalogue! It could be at least something for people waiting for their Skulls and Bones or other Sea of Thieves: Monkey Island.

bjorntobywylde I found an close alternative. It's an Android game, also ported to Steam but it doesn't include land battles, though the naval battles are amazing.

Not exactly the same game but it definitely scratches the itch and it's just as addictive.

HonourShogun I remember playing this when it first came out, buggy, crashed a lot and yet, one of the best pirate games I have ever played. Invading a town felt dangerous, if you misjudged you would fail. Fighting the wrong ships could truly ruin you. If you didn't keep the crew happy, you might end up on the bottom of the sea. Please bring it back.

TeaCharmer Gangsters: Organized Crime was one of the earliest games on gog and it's made by Hothouse Creations too. I don't understand why can't we get Cutthroats as well :'C

Webrv Still hoping too, think the problem its so hard to get it actually working on never systems and even with dxwnd it sometimes only work once, then the game would need a version8 patch because even v7 still had bugs like some governors having the wrong flag. eg. english town but inside spanish governor or so. So the problem is gog will get so many complaints and refund request from most purchases that it wont be worth it for them.
Silentgerm i would love to see this game on gog it is a classic and id love to see it kept the same but updated visually kinda like diablo 2 id also love to see sim copter on here as well

TeaCharmer Would be really nice to be able to play this one again. It had some interesting mechanics, and even in the recent resurgence of pirate-themed games, most of them are not that complex and we could really use some of that :'P

damzen87 this much needed classic is needed. The genre is lacking this at the moment which this game's mechanics brought in at the time. Great sounds and immersion at the time.
canthra I would pay 50 dollars for this game, please bring it back. Even better would be if this game was remade, none are even close to how good it was.
