CRYPTsakura One of my the most favourite games ever... Not because gameplay (meh) or graphic (meh) or unlocked framerate (lol 30 fps on pc)... but because that feeling. Winter, Budhism, Himalaya etc... Everything together makes this game very very unique and i finished about 10 times already... Love this game, with to get Cursed Mountain 2 or complete remaster or... (at least remake on unreal engine made by fanboys).... For me this game is 8/10 and love it

It's a traditional-style survival horror (i.e. exploration and combat are balanced) with a unique and interesting setting : the spirit-haunted villages, monasteries, and mountaintops of Tibet. Rooted in some pleasingly unfamiliar and downright unsettling Tibetan beliefs (Sky Burial, anyone? Google it if you're hard enough...) that haven't been done to death in a dozen games already, it's a memorable trek.
Fans of games like Fatal Frame (a.k.a. Project Zero) may find it ticks their spooky-rituals-and-ghosts box rather nicely. It's not in the same league as Fatal Frame, of course, but it's aiming for a similar atmosphere - and that alone makes it a rare experience.
It may be 'only' a basic port of a Wii game - so expect PS2-quality graphics - but you'll be glad the PC version exists, if only because it has been stripped of the gimmicky motion-control waggling that made the Wii version's combat (literally!) painful to play. Those boss battles... Ouch.
