Iolobliss Although Paradox and Harebrained Schemes (HBS) have agreed to separate, I still think it is unlikely, that we will get a remaster or remake of Crimson Skies by HBS anytime soon.
The IP may still be owned by Microsoft (I think Phil Spencer mentioned in one of his many interviews, that he really liked Crimson Skies), and HBS is not known for developing flight sims, although storytelling-wise (and the gameplay could be extended to other genres, e.g. action adventure, platformer, and rpg, into something similar to the movie "Skycaptain and the World of Tomorrow"), they would be a good fit and due to Jordan Weisman, of course.
Hence, my hope is, that the classic version of Crimson Skies will at least be made available by GOG, because it is neither available in the Microsoft Store nor at Steam at the moment.

captaincofresi This really needs a PC remake, since the PC version had so many bugs. I played this game on the Xbox, and there it just was really great. One thing that then really needs to be added in a remastered version = local splitscreen 2-players to 4-players. That would really make this a great game for PC. The only game that comes close to this is the flying race game Skydrift, albeit also just a Single Player game without local multiplayer support.
