Dillerkind There have been several threads on the official Carma forums, asking for the whereabouts of the drm-free version. All of them were "open-ended", with no final comment. Therefore I asked in one of them about any new development and somebody said that Stainless had stated earlier that the drm-free version would be available once the main patching is through. There was an update mail shortly before Christmas, speaking of new additions to the game, yet still no word about the non-steam version. I'm a bit worried too since it's been over a half year since the "final" game was released on steam. They sure take their time delivering to non-steam-users :/
RoseLegion Backed the KS, love the game series, still waiting on the DRM free version and with no word on the subject from the Devs I'm beginning to become concerned. I'd hate to think people would offer DRM free during their fundraising and then just go DRM after they have their money :(
LuSan6 to this day I am yet to see where is the drm free version of the game avaiable to buy
KeyperOS In the kickstarter campaign the 15$ tier was called "DRM THIS!" where, a non-steam, no DRM-encumbered version of the game would be available. There would be no on-line multiplayer as the game uses Steamworks for this but single player and LAN play would be supported. I'd be very surprised if this version wasn't available on GoG when the time comes.
