Amano_Man right, but the game itself works great with Windows 10, just use dosbox, and u can even emulate the original MIDI sound of the music. Just check our fanpage at bloodandmagic.BRUT.me will be doing our own version of BaM where eerything is set up, just copy and play, Stay tuned :)

sexyfrozen I would also enjoy a version of this with modern compatibility. I own the game itself, but can't play it on anything but an old machine or VM. I'd really like to share the game with others.

zutsarune the game can be found... but compatibility issues are abundant. a full version for windows 10 with all the updates needed to run 100% would be AWESOME... so far haven't' found one and have been looking for years. got one that works but the old mono sound won't work on a 64bit . so most the games noise's is silent.

Skillasaur Honestly, the simplicity of one resource, units generating that resource and only the speed, hp, attack and defence of units to worry about - this was pure as an introduction to RTS as you could get. Loved this game.

andreasaspenberg2 i still have it on disc but, my disc version lacked the intro. i got it on disc twice and one is still in an unopened box. if gog releases it with some fixes, i would buy it. they should however merge the wishlist topics as there is 3 for this game.

cricokiss It would be nice to buy this game from GoG. Blood and Magic has a very relevant participation on RTS games history. It's simply the first D&D Real-Time Strategy game (there aren't too many, though). I still remember the Ranger/Nymph combo and the eternal Cleric/Paladin units and their healing habilities. Please, make this game available!
Psychoticsquid I love this game! It may not be the most polished game ever made, and it had to contend with the likes of Warcraft 2, but it has always had a special place in my heart.

Foreros In a generation where war games was bloody, a simple game, where magic is the base of a strategy game is a jewel for the ages it appear. A simple, but funny, game that will force you explore every bit of strategy out of your mind. A must to have. Go basal golem go! :D

Hephae You have my enthusiastic vote for this game. I would love to play your recalibrated version. I know I am aging myself, but I so enjoyed playing this when it came out. In fact I had a dinosaur of a comp at that time, as I was still young and money never grows on trees, hat I rebuilt and souped up just for this game and its playability. LOL Even then the HDDs were still rated in KBs of memory! OMG Talk about memories!

brechindo Incidentally, a little secret for you fans? The cut-scenes (not the movies) were oil paintings done by our contract artist Peter Ledger. Every month when he delivered the latest painting, work stopped for a half hour as we all played Spot All the Hidden Penises. I shit you not. If you can find the game, look very closely at the cut scenes. They're all over the place. R.I.P. Peter, you were a gentleman and a prankster.

Gizmojunk Great game. When I fire it up for old time sake, I never fail to get caught up in it again ~at least until it eventually crashes in DosBox. There is an interesting bit of trivia for this game. I own two retail cd copies, and the demo that was included on the Interplay anthology. What's wild is that the retail game did not ship with the opening intro cinimatic, but the demo did... I found that if you just copy over the intro video, the game uses it just fine. Oh... and somebody at Interplay accidentally included the full source code for the engine in a sub-folder of the demo on the anthology collection.
