Ashes of the Singularity for Linux
I'm also interested in a Linux port. I don't have a windows system.
Thank you for this explanation. You give hope.
Before release though the developers felt that this would be an easy port to do due to the similarities of code for dx12 and vulkan www.gamingonlinux.com/articles/ashes-of-the-singularity-developer-thinks-vulkan-will-make-linux-gaming-viable.6794/
"The developer mentions how similar DirectX 12 and Vulkan are, and that they have already done some code. Dan says they are so similar he couldn't imagine someone not doing Vulkan if they are doing DirectX 12."
Engines: Nitrous - The Linux port will not be easy
+1 for linux
This one? www.gog.com/game/ashes_of_the_singularity_escalation
Please support Linux!
Please support Linux. More are moving to the platform all the time. The more companies that support us the more will come. I have spoken to countless people that pref are Linux but have to dual boot windows for 1 or 2 games.
Linux would be an ideal platform for this RTS. Do it!
Add me for a Linux version. I've watched Stardock's games with envious eyes, and I would definitely buy Ashes if it came out for Linux.
Very interested in a Linux version of this and GalCiv 3
Yes, please!
Wouldn't say demand, but I'd certainly buy it if it was available on Linux.
I've already commented in the steam thread about this one, but I do need to add that I'd only consider buying the game if it were DRM free. GoG is always my first port of call when buying games, and if a Linux version of Ashes was available I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.
More benchmark for linux, count me in. Let's face it Vulkan is fun to develop for because it literally opens new doors, new possibilities, new expertise, new people and of course business practices.
I would love a Linux version and would be overjoyed if that version made it over to GOG.
Yes please.
I'd love to buy it
GOG could use some strong Linux RTS
RTS games on Linux are lacking unfortunately, having this here would be an instant buy for me.
Would pick a drm free veesion up right away.
Whenever Galaxy supports Linux, i'm in. Until then, i'm mostly elsewhere.
when release GOG Galaxy on Linux...
Although, only when a hassle free Galaxy for Linux is (finally!) released, will i buy games of GOG.
Could you link some screenshots?
