Unbound: Worlds Apart Prologue is a short part of the upcoming atmospheric 2D Puzzle-Platformer where the main character, Soli, can conjure magic portals to travel between different realities in order to learn more about the catastrophe that ravaged his world. Inside certain portals, the physical properties of the character or world elements can change, offering new gameplay possibilities.
Unbound’s artistic approach can be summarized as a dark fairy tale presented in a cartoonish style, with the purpose to give the game experience a fresh look and feel. Curiosity and exploration will have an impact on the overall atmosphere.

I love the platforming and how it uses portals to create challenging jumps and puzzles. I liked how one part seemed impossible, but upon further consideration I made it!
The mechanics are introduced gradually and intuitively, without explicit tutorials.
The animations and effects look cool.
I definitely recommend it if you like puzzle-platformers.
This is a neat little Puzzle-Platformer that already has a lot of promise. From what you see here, it seems like a one-trick pony, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that the central mechanic is structured in such a way that it can be altered drastically. For example, here, you see a portal that functions as a dual worlds thing, but you can walk through gates that can add to that function or even completely change what it does. From the looks of things, this also isn't going to be just a linear experience, and I'm looking forward to see what kind of big world the full game will have to explore. It's a short demo (took me just under half an hour, and that's because I got stuck on a puzzle), so I'd highly recommend giving this a go, if you're into this sort of thing.
This prologue is really really good. It plays well, the portal mechanics are fun, the platforming it challenging and satisfying and the metroidvania was not overly backtracky making it a really pleasant experience.
The dialogue needs some work TBF, but the dev recently announced on twitter that they hired a writer to up the quality on that as well so my hopes are really high.
This has potential to be ne next Ori or Hallow Knight, will be keeping close tabs on this one
I would like this game, I really love the puzzles in it (not too easy, not too hard), but I have no agility and it was sometimes really long time before I could jump properly in some places. Others shouldn't have such problems, it's just me (and my disfunctions, really). ;-)
Also: I think there is some kind of bug(?), because there is a difference if you jump right or left - I think it was about when I was pressing "up" with "space" and "right"/"left", in the first case the character would jump, in the second he wouldn't.
