Z: The Game

Mouse controls are completely botched: Edge scrolling speed is arbitrary and not uniform, making you motion sick. Mouse buttons seem to be swapped, so you select units with the right mouse button and move them around with the left button, which is completely unintuitive. Graphics just seem upscaled, the game does not offer real high resolution support. First time I will make use of the money back guarantee.

The original is awesome. This remake has terrible controls. I hope we get a patch soon. At the moment it's unplayable for me :-(

As opposed to the Ipad release, this 'port' doesn't even include multiplayer. What a shame. Much like the OSX version, the controls are different (read: worse) than what they used to be in the original game. And what good is the increased resolution if all it does is zoom out and show you more of the map? It's not like visual detail was increased, so the higher 'res' is still kinda lame if you play the game @ FullHD or higher resolutions. There are almost no options at all in the main menu and the AI seems to behave differently compared to the original game. They should instead have: -re-released a DOSbox version of the original game -made a proper 3D remake with totally new graphics similiar to Starcraft 2 for example but keeping the same look & feel. But that's asking too much apparently. Instead, all you get is some fancy new buttons, zoomed out graphics, worse AI, worse controls and no bloody multiplayer. If you still own the original game, create a DOSbox.conf file, put: mount c d:GamesZ mount f d:GamesZ-CD -t cdrom c: z.bat at the end of that file and copy the CD content into that Z-CD folder. Then start the game with: C:...DOSBox.exe -conf "Z.conf" and you're good to go.

Please, don't play this game on computer... Why not on mobile, but it's simply awfull to play on computer. Impossible to change resolution (Ipad resolution i presude), mouse click works one on two... Avoid this game please !
