Needs a lot of updates
IMO: - The graphics are ok. - The zoom-ability is nice. - It is an old-fashioned Transport-Tycoon-esque sim, which I was looking for and somehow got... not so good IMO is: - the clunky UI: it is not really helpful despite being minimalistic. Some windows are waaay too small, some info is hidden behind too many clicks/menus. Also: why can't I rotate a building with my mousewheel? Why do the WSAD keys not work all the time? They seem to get stuck by some of my interactions. Why can't I scroll to the right with the mouse, but can to the left, up and down?!? - the track-building tool needs dire improvement: how about an option to stick to the terrain instead of severely carving into the terrain or raising insane embankments? Some tracks/routes are not available for the player until they can afford a 10mil.€ track with just a medium distance. Too often it creates a sensless bridges in places where there is just a slight valley OR proposing a tunnel through a tiny mound. To have the choice of a tunnel/bridge/embankment OR to deal with the consequence of a slow train on a slope is champion here. OR at least show me why the track tool locks me to the decisions it makes. - "game-logic"-wise: why do the factories/ressource buildings not start delivering their goods to my newly built trainstations? Why I do have to wait 2-3years till they start delivering anything? Time in which I run my company deep in the reds. - The inner-city passenger transport seem redundant since no real money can be made, not even on a second or third level. i.e. to offer transport to your passenger train seems not to work or is not intended. - making money at an early game seems quite imbalanced. From playing TT/OTT over many years I know it takes time and wise decisions BUT the costs for trains are immense and rickshaws do not generate money (nullifying staring at your screen unmoved and waiting) - the loan system is too simple: how about 3 options with varying rates, optional repayment time, roll-over credits and/or periods. - on the part of the logistics the game is so far ok. A little bit too simple for my taste but thats just my opinion. Tech-wise I haven't so far encountered any CTDs or anything near this. Conclusively I would say it is a good start and fertile basis for a pretty good game (like a modern TT/OTT), but in it's current state rather bland and boring, because it does not replicate the finer moments of TT/OTT.
