As Mrfreshdom's review states it is quite the fun game with plenty of options to chose from in game play although as I came to realize using firearms can quickly ruin a good payday as killing only 3 guards cut my payday down only 45% due to cleaner costs. Then the crashing, and some rather silly rules in game can ruin your fun like being unable to disable phones for example at least at a lower lvl then a gun shot should do the job nicely. The weapon unlock system is also a bit silly because you can snag a shotgun early into the game but with no shells to find or buy you will just let it sit in your safehouse. And that brings me to my next point there is no storage area leaving you to simply toss your gear into one of the rooms something I could see being a mess unless a chest, or something is unlocked after a certain area. So perhaps hold off on this until some patches go through so you don't have your men get trapped behind an invisible wall just because another man pushed them aside.

I can't advise buying this game for one reason; it crashes so very often. I can't complete the longer/ more complex heists because the game crashes too frequently (maximum 20 mins of gameplay between crashes). I also do have a couple of issues with the gameplay. 1) Pathfinding is sketchy. The AI tries to path over watcher and so gets stuck 2) Anyone who is knocked out can slide under objects, making it impossible to pick up their body. This means you either have to leave a goon (heister) baby sitting the body, or risk it waking up and calling the fuzz. 3) The explosives, if thrown onto an object Eg box, do not damage the wall. If you only bring the minimum amount of equipment for the heist a failed explosion means a restart However; I do love the gameplay save the for the mentioned gripes. Cones of vision are clear and the mechanics are very enjoyable. The ability to grow your squad of goon as heists become more complex is nice What would I change? Other than fixing the mentioned issues... I'd like some storage in the hub/base. If I don't take something on a heist it just gets left on the floor, although it is persistent. Just seems untidy for no reason. Without the crashing this would be a four star game. Without the crashes and other issues i'd have given it five. I hope for a patch and will update the review accordingly

First off: so far, I haven't encountered a single crash (on Linux). The game seems stable to me. So, this is basically a heist puzzle game. It's not awful but also not great - it's quite okay. My main gripe with the game is the conrols. It just sucks when you feel you lose a game not because it was your fault, but because the controls are somehow imprecise.

I love the graphics and music. The gameplay is very good too. But I can only play the three first levels because the game crashes, but that's not the worse, you can't save by yourself and the game loose the autosave when it crashes. I recommend you to wait a bit before buying it. This game need one or two patchs and it can become a very good game.
