It's been a long journey. In just a few days, the ark doors will open and Noah, his family & the animals will be back on dry land. But the animals have become a bit restless and are out of their cages. Camels, giraffes, monkeys, kangaroos and more are wandering throughout the corridors of the ark. As Noah, it's your job to regain order & get the animals to sleep until you leave the ark. Your only tool to accomplish this is the food you brought aboard the ark. Can it be done? You bet! But how?

This is the definitive version of the classic family-friendly first person shooter built on the Wolfenstein 3D engine. A necessary pious addition to any true believer's library.
I just want to start off putting some myths to bed:
1. This is NOT the SNES version, this is the DOS version repackaged with ECWolf Source Port for play on modern systems as the game uses the Wolf3D Engine Licensed from Id software.
2. All the levels are original to the game are not retextured levels from Wolf3D or Spear of Destiny.
Super 3D Noah's Ark pr S3DNA is a wolf3d engine powered family friendly fps where you play Noah tasked with getting the animals on the ark under control who have gone riot and taken over parts of the biblical ship for themselves.
Gameplay is very similar to Wolf3D and there is no blood or death you just knock the animals out to sleep using seed or fruits.
Religious content includes little tablets which has trivia about the Ark story from Genesis, and just revolves around that, so no preaching if that kinda thing turns you off.
So all in all a fun little game played in short bursts.
(Just to note I am religiously a christian but none of that figures into this review feel free to add me to your friends list if you have questions.)
Play this game or be Gosh darned to Heck! This bizarre church giftshop curio puts a Sunday-school twist on the Wolfenstein 3d engine. Originally released as a church gift shop cartridge to let religious children play those video GAMES by giving them religious twists, this one's interestingly fun. Whether or not you are religious (I'll admit- I'm pretty far from it myself) this game is weird and fun. From the silly music to the bizarre firearms used to feed the animals (no killing in this game) and save the ark, it's just plain weird fun. I recommend this artifact from a really weird part of the history of video games, just so you can see how bizarre things got back then. This is the best of Wisdom Tree's weird games, and, thus far, it's the only one to be picked up and republished by a non-religious publisher as a historical artifact from the Nintendo 64 era.
I didn't get to play this back in the day. God bless Piko Interactive for updating and distributing Wisdom Tree's old catalog!
Super 3D Noah's Ark was built using an officially licensed Wolfenstein 3D engine. It uses simple raycasting to form a first-person perspective. It can run decently on a Super Nintendo. Even a netbook should be powerful enough to zip smoothly through the corridors of the ark.
Strewn about the ark you will find Bibles. These give a quiz question about related to Noah and the Biblical story of the flood. Noah can also find find several "feeders" laying about. They seem to be variations on a slingshot. I like the mechanical rapid-fire one and the HUGE watermelon lobbing one!
The graphics are bright and cheerful. Even for it's time the graphics were okay at best which is typical for Wisdom Tree.
The music is nothing to write home about. It varies from bouncy and happy to slightly tense. It generally fits the tone of the game and is fine for kids of all ages. You'll probably won't add the soundtrack to your playlist.
The updated windows version works with keyboard & mouse or with an Xbox360 style gamepad. The controls were intuitive and I didn't have to look up how to any of the basics.
I'm about half-way through the game and I'm having a blast! I'd recommend this for young kids or anyone who has fond memories of playing Wisdom Tree games in the '90s. Where else can you pacify rampaging animals using nothing but your wits and a fully automatic rapid-fire mechanical slingshot?
Also, in the game's installation folder there is a file called "Super Noah's Ark 3D (U).sfc" I tried loading it in an SNES emulator (ZSNES) and it ran! It's a apparently a rom image of the SNES version. Woot!
I like Super 3D Noahs Ark. It was very unknown in our region when the game was released and it was just reported as a curiosity. But for me it's a good game. The music and sometimes with Quiz to getting some Bonus-Items is very motivating. And of course try to find secrets and secret-exits.
