An engaging horror story
I have recently finished this game and want to let readers know that this is not a perverted game. If you are looking for that you will need to look elsewhere. The most racy content can be found in the sample images listed above. As a Visual Novel, this game is mostly story based and so there is a fair amount of reading, but for those who play these types of games that is a good thing if the story is good and it is. A lot of the fun involves learning about Manten Aquarium while trying to make decisions that won't lead you or your friend(s) to a gruesome death. Unlike most other games in this game if you die your death will be drawn out and explained in detail. Sometimes you may think you will get out of your situation only to have that hope snatched away from you and at other times the reverse is true. I enjoyed the music which I will give a 4/5. The artwork and Gallery was a nice touch. The Art is 4.5/5. Character development 4.5/5. Really good and more than I expected, but I still wanted more. The story I will give a 5/5. It is engaging and it makes you feel good to play, especially if you can make it to one of the True endings. I'd say the game is about 13 - 15 hours as a rough guess. The game is somewhat reminiscent of FranBow or DownFall. The difference is that in this game you are more along for the ride and the decisions you make determine which path the story will take. Each story path gives a lot of back story to the different characters and the events that led to Manten Aquarium and the mystery of this hellish aquarium. I'm new to GOG's Visual Novels, but this one is a fun one to get your feet wet with.
