Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous - Enhanced Edition

I won't even try to get into the "who, why, and when" of the EULA, but there is a window that pops up now that did not when i first bought the game that requires agreement to play the game. The stipulations, as i understand them, are not acceptable to me, so I uninstalled and ceased playing, as per the EULA. Too bad. I was having fun. The second star of the two was for the fun I had while it lasted.

Asking for a refund

EULA as of August 2022 still allows Owlcat to install any software they want, to collect all information from your computer that they deem fit, to resell to any third parties of their choosing. NO THANK YOU. I wanted to buy a game, not pay someone to sell my personal information to everyone in the world.

Ok this will be increadibly subjcetive. First of all game both looks and plays great, graphics are amazing, customization is awesome, characters and quests are interesting and the worldbuilding is fantastic. If you are looking for pathfinder game or good rpg in general you will not be dissapointed. My low score is purely personal because for me it is too...big, too epic. Beginning is fantastic- you are just some person who is swept up in the events of the crusade, city is burning, people are screaming...good stuff. Couple of hours later and I am a sole commander of the crusade well on my path to godhood (angelhood?) totally the most super special guy in the world who wields holy sword and is treated as if somehow Saladin had a baby with god-emperor of mankind... I mean...I get it, rpgs are power fantasy but...at least make me work for it. It is kind of if your GM asked you to make level 1 character who suddenly is treated as some level 20 epic hero who slays dragons for fun and bullies arch-demons before breakfast. I played Baldur's Gate where I am a literal child of god...very few people gave two shits about it...cause they had no idea. Here I feel like I am playing BG 2 throne of bhaal... now do not get me wrong, it is fantastic when a goddamn lich sees you and goes "wow...let's be civil about it dude" but it needs to be earned. Here I am having chats with demons, being praised by the queen, being treated as crucial member of this great strife...all the while I am...level 6. So not really my cup of tea, but if you want to play a game of great scope about dangerous and epic struggle with interesting characters and very fun system I am sure you will love it.
