A really fun romp for open-minded individuals who enjoy match-3 games and hilarious dialogue. Pros: * Excellent dialogue writing and acting (seriously!) * Match-3 element is very well balanced and fun to play * Option to play as a girl or a guy * Hidden easter eggs extend game for completionists * Generally sexually positive atmosphere Cons: * Date-sim aspect is half-baked and gets repetitive Notes: At the time of this review, the GOG release appears to be the censored version of the game which does not show explicit versions of the "end scenes". The devs of the game have an official patch available at their website to make the game uncensored. I would have preferred the game be released in its original state without requiring a patch, but can appreciate that worldwide distribution can have legal and other business ramifications pertaining to game content and so do not fault GOG for this decision.

Yes, this game has hot Anime Chicks, and yes, your mission is to get laid, but at its core it is a VERY competent "match 3 Gems" Game with a fair difficulty curve. You play a loser that one day meets a girl in a club. Said Girl is a love fairy and you are her new pet project, a virgin that needs some booty. All in all a good game and incredible persiflage of the dating game genre. Get it. Its good

If you want to uncensor your game: 1. Go to your local DLL GOG_Games\HuniePop\HuniePop_Data\Plugins 2. Copy the DLL file and rename it to "huniepop_uncensored_patch.game" 3. It should have a GAME extension type file. 4. Move the huniepop_uncensored_patch.game file to your main folder (location where you execute the game outside of GOG Galaxy. It has the HuniePop icon and would be somewhere with this extension: GOG_Games\HuniePop) Launch the game, it should have the word "Uncensored" at the bottom left when you get to your menu with the save files.

A simple match three game with a great, though perverted, sense of humor that doesn't at all take itself seriously and has a surprising depth of interactivity.... well more a relatively surprising depth of interactivity. Not for the white knights who pretend to be bothered by the objectification of digital women.
