Figment

A very chill, laid back game. If you're looking for a short game with catchy tunes and cute dad jokes then I would recommend this. Combat is clunky and hit detection gets kinda weird sometimes, but the game is very generous with the autosaves so it doesn't become much of an annoyance.

Figment is a very imaginative game with a great storyline, but there are a few things lacking. First, I didn't appreciate the foul language in the game, considering the fact that I thought this game was safe to play in front of my five year old boy. That being said I was also annoyed by the amount of glitches that occurred during gameplay, and even after I tried to exit the game itself. The game crashed on me multiple times, but so far it hasn't been enough to ruin the gameplay entirely. Let's just hope they patch these issues soon. Here's a more detailed breakdown of the gameplay itself: - The controls were okay, but I was annoyed having to use the analog stick instead of my D-Pad. - The fighting is a tad underwhelming and a little clunky, but an overall enjoyable experience. - The storyline is top-notch, and the characters are instantly enjoyable. - The graphics are fantastic and the atmosphere is very imaginative. - The puzzles are a little basic for my taste, but enough you keep you engaged. Overall, this game is a solid four stars. No more, no less.

Seems like an interesting game. There are couple issues though -for linux version. It won't start if you click on the icon in the menu, i managed to start 32bit version only by clicking the program file directly but it crashes after meeting the first foe... It would be hugely appreciated if the linux version was not just dumped on us.

I loved the art, the backgrounds and the cute stuff of the world. It teleport you in a funny and relaxing land drawn by fantasy. But, for a 4 hours game, it's boring. The mechanics are pretty much the same all along the game, enigmas and foes are ridiculous. Story predictable, bosses - personification of fears, FEARS - not disturbing at all. They... well... they sing all the time. That doesn't give any motivation. It's like the developers didn't know if create a game for for adults (see the story and the references to mind's chemistry and physics) or for childs (see everything else). And the bird. I hate the bird. Shut her up.
